The LaserMethane^® unit allows methane detection at distance. Utilising Tuneable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS) methane column density is measured and displayed on backlit displays in both numerical and graphical formats.

The LaserMethane^® mini (LMm) performs a self check on start-up verifying the operation and calibration of the laser diode by referencing an inbuilt methane cell. Consequently the LaserMethane^® unit eliminates the need for external calibration.
