The Engineered Fixed Systems (EFS) team are dedicated to providing innovative and cost-effective solutions for gas detection challenges that can’t be addressed using standard products. Our highly experienced engineers consult directly with customers to understand requirements and deliver bespoke solutions
Andy Avenell, EFS Lead
Andy Avenell
Andy has more than 27 years’ experience in the gas detection industry including many years spent designing and commissioning systems in industrial, petrochemical and oil and gas installations both onshore and offshore.
Jackie Marsh
Jackie has been with Crowcon for nearly 7 years, moving to fixed-systems sales after four years of supporting customers as part of the Technical Support team. Jackie has worked in engineering roles across electronics and manufacturing and is an associate member of the APM through her keen interest in project management.
David Bradley
David has recently joined Crowcon after working in the Middle East for over 12 years in the oil and gas industry. David has an Environmental Science degree and has a wealth of knowledge in environmental air quality monitoring instrumentation.
Chris Buckle
Chris has been the principle design engineer in the EFS team for over 17 years, regularly using his instrumentation knowledge, and vast on-site and systems design experience to devise intuitive solutions for demanding applications.
Euclid Roachford
Euclid has worked for Crowcon for nearly 30 years. Euclid supervises production of standard and engineered fixed system products and acts as the link between the design and production teams. Euclid has assembled EFS systems for all his time at Crowcon, and also performs upgrades and installations at customer sites.
Martin Couchman
Martin has been with Crowcon for nineteen years building both standard panels and engineered systems, while particularly focussing on allocating and administering components through Crowcon’s ERP system.
Marek Kapuscinski
Marek has worked with Crowcon for 13 years. He is the lead EFS technician and mentors the apprentices working in the department. Marek finds delivering customer solutions very satisfying.
Alex Watson
Alex has been at Crowcon for 5 years studying an Engineering Apprenticeship in Electronics, as well as completing an NVQ in Business Improvement Techniques. He embarks on his final year of the apprenticeship and is now working towards a BEng in Engineering Product Design.
