Crowcon will be exhibiting at The Battery Show Europe 2025, taking place from June 3 – 5 at Messe Stuttgart in Stuttgart, Germany. Europe’s largest battery show, The Battery Show Europe is expected to welcome more than 20,000 attendees in June who will have the chance to explore the 72,000m² show floor and meet over 1,000 suppliers.

At the event, Crowcon will present its cutting-edge battery safety solutions designed to address the growing risks associated with the increased use of lithium-ion batteries, particularly thermal runaway.

Crowcon’s Battery Safety Solution

Crowcon’s advanced Molecular Property Spectrometer™ (MPS™) sensor enables early detection of off-gassing by identifying DMCs and EMCs, which helps pinpoint the earliest signs of battery failure before it leads to thermal runaway, fire, or explosion. This comprehensive protection extends to the detection of over 15 flammable gases, thereby enhancing safety against fire, property damage, and business disruption caused by battery failures. Additionally, the MPS™ sensor eliminates the need for frequent calibration and is resistant to contamination.

Our MPS sensor technology is available in a wide range of our portable and fixed products.

As well as our fantastic range of MPS products, we’ll have two exciting new devices being showcased.

First off, we have the BESafe, Crowcon’s first fixed detector developed specifically for the energy storage industry. It provides rapid and accurate detection of flammable gases which are a generated during thermal runaway.

And finally we have the Xgard Bright H, an advanced high-temperature flammable gas detector specifically designed for monitoring NMP gas levels during the lithium battery manufacturing process.
