What does a Crowcon apprenticeship involve?
An advanced apprenticeship at Crowcon takes three years to complete. Our apprenticeship programmes will provide you with the opportunity to continue your academic studies at Newbury College. This will be spent studying one day per week, alongside ‘hands on’ training to gain Level 4 PEO qualification.
Over a length of the apprenticeship, you will join Crowcon as an apprentice line technician. The college course will be held at Newbury College and you will be entered onto a two year HNC in Electrical/Electronic engineering. This will then be followed by a HND top up, all conducted as day release. You’ll also complete a Performing Engineering Operations (PEO) level 4 NVQ whilst in work. This will be alongside extensive internal training on Problem solving, Lean training, Business improvement technique courses.

Ryan is also an Apprenticeship Ambassador. The Apprenticeship Ambassador (AA) programme is a scheme where apprentices have the opportunity to visit schools and various workshops around Oxfordshire to help promote apprenticeships in the workplace.
