Direct & Indirect Shipping Choice

As we continue our preparations for BREXIT, we are writing to inform you that from the 4th January 2021 there will be changes to the way in which products are shipped from the UK to the EU.

There are two potential options, and we are asking you to decide which your organisation will choose.

Direct Shipment: If your organisation is already an importer of goods from outside of the EU, you have the option to receive direct shipments from Crowcon UK. This will ensure the quickest delivery time. To do this you will need to be registered to import goods from outside of the EU and be prepared to pay import duty and VAT for the goods you receive, you will be the importer of record for the goods that you receive. In this case you will manage the customs and duty, although duties on Crowcon product are either zero or very small – please see the FAQ for more detail.

Indirect (Breakbulk) Shipment: If your organisation is not an importer of goods from outside of the EU, you have the option to continue to receive goods delivered on Crowcon’s behalf. This is likely to increase delivery times by an extra 2 days. This will be our default option.

We have collated a useful FAQ guide that will help to answer any questions you may have, however if you have any questions not covered within this document, please let us know.
