Crowcon Detection Instruments Ltd. is pleased to announce the recent hiring of a new sales manager for northern Europe, based in the Netherlands earlier this year.
Edward Heitlager joined Crowcon earlier this year and has a wealth of experience within the industry. Edward started his career in the safety industry 16 years ago and has gained a wide range of knowledge and experience from working for both distributors and manufacturers. When asked about what he enjoys about working in the industry, Edward explained that being able to use his experience and product knowledge to help create a safe environment for people and businesses is a big part of what drives him.
“I have been familiar with Crowcon since early in my career and have always considered them a market leader in gas detection. It is a brand to be proud of and I am happy to now be a part of it” said Edward, when asked what it was that drew him to Crowcon.
Since joining, Edward has been focussed on continuing existing long-term relationships in his region and working hard to create new relationships to build the business. Interaction with end-users and partners is another element that drives Edward in his role, “together we can work towards a solution and build long-term partnerships”.
When questioned on his experience at Crowcon so far Edward said that he was “excited when I started and still excited today, there have been a lot of development in Crowcon but also in the wider Halma group which have expanded our portfolio and offerings”
