Merging with Tyco in 2018 they now provide a full turn-key solution for the global marine and navy industries. The merge has allowed for the protection of over 80% of the vessels at sea for all types of assets and facilities including fixed and portable devices. Johnson Controls also supply gas detection to the renewable industry.

Point safety Ltd are one of the UK’s leading gas safety consultants with 20 years of experience, knowledge and background in the instrumentation industry. Founded in 2011 by their current Managing Director, Point Safety now specialise in sectors such as oil and gas, pharmaceutical, utilities and telecommunication, providing a range of industries, supplying, installing and maintenance of bespoke solutions and the service and supply of test equipment. Point Safety provide constancy to their customers as they believe that there is no such thing as ‘one size fits all’ nor does one solution just have to be ‘fit for purpose’.

Background 

Sure-safe is a gas detection specialist based in Hertfordshire. With an internal team of 18, they provide fixed and portable gas detectors and in-house service and calibration to provide suitable gas detection across many sectors, including automotive, transportation, water treatment, CHP plants and universities.

Views on Gas Detection  

With the Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations 2022 scheduled for amendment with the 1992 Regulations being extended to employers’ and employees’ duties in respect of PPE to a wider group of workers. These changes will mean that employers will now have duty to concern the provision and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at work.  

With these scheduled changes leading to a shift in who is responsible for workplace PPE, Guardsman have in response to this begun developing conversations with existing relationships in gas detection to identify the pains their customers may have and to allow the easiest way to provide correct equipment.

Bence Plumbing & Heating serves all customers plumbing and heating needs, with daily deliveries in Gloucestershire and access to a huge range of products from our main depot in Cheltenham. Bence provide a personal touch, bespoke service with a vast knowledge of the bathroom, plumbing and heating sector.
