BESafe Shortlisted For Innovation Award At Solar & Storage Live 2026

For the second year running, Crowcon has had BESS products shortlisted, this year for the Innovation Award at Solar & Storage Live 2026, recognising BESafe for its innovative approach to gas detection for battery energy storage systems (BESS) and its contribution to protecting high-risk energy storage spaces as the sector scales up.

Now in its 14^th year, the Solar & Storage Live Awards is one of the industry’s leading events for solar, energy storage and complementary technologies, Solar & Storage Live brings together organisations driving the transition to a cleaner energy future.

Held as part of Solar & Storage Live UK, the awards are judged by an independent panel of industry experts, with winners announced at a ceremony on 22^nd September 2026 during the show at the NEC, Birmingham.

The Innovation Award recognises products and technologies that demonstrate genuine originality and technical excellence, rewarding solutions that are helping the industry solve real-world challenges in solar and energy storage deployment.

Crowcon’s shortlisted entry centres on BESafe, a dual-channel gas detector built specifically for battery energy storage systems. Equipped with smart sensors, BESafe is designed to protect compact, high-risk installations, offering fast response detection alongside remote maintenance capability and flexible installation options, helping operators monitor gas risk across BESS sites without compromising on speed or ease of deployment.
